According to this story on Slashdot, AOL is blocking mail sent/relayed from mail servers on residential DSL lines. This is a move that obviously runs counter to the very philosophy of the internet, and according to some, is a violation of SMTP RFCs. The poster of the story proposes retaliating against AOL by blocking all mail sent from AOL. I'm not sure if retaliation in kind is the best solution, but it'll probably get their attention pretty quickly.
