I just walked out after projecting "Matrix Reloaded", and almost fell on my ass. Sometime while I was flapping my arms and running in place, I realized that a big puddle had frozen solid. Yup, it's gone below freezing in Chicago-land for the first time since I got here (as far as I know). I'm still at 3 layers though, which means I can add another layer (as well as hat and gloves).
I received an email from the webmaster of the Japanese site, 100Shiki.com that he'd like to mention BlogMatcher, in a book he's working on. AFAIK, this'll be the first time one of my creations has made it on a real book; Niep! was mentioned in more magazines than I can remember, but not in proper books (well, not that there's much of a qualitative difference, but still).
Thanksgiving break is coming up in a few weeks. We really only get Thursday and Friday off, and some Wednesday classes are cancelled. Considering how it's reading week after that, and finals a week after that, I'm not sure it'll be very relaxing. So, a few friends and I are conspiring to organize a MMPOCCTFG. In case you've never heard of MMPOCCTFGs, it stands for "Massively Multi-Player On-Campus Capture the Flag Game". We're hoping to get maybe a 100 or so students... but a couple dozen might work too.
I passed by the Disney store downtown yesterday (when I went to see Matrix Revolutions), and saw a stack of stuffed Nemos. Dude, I'm going to get myself one of those. Duuuude....
Oh, and still no C&D.
