Phew. I just submitted my ray tracer for the computer graphics class I'm in. That was insane. We had 3 weeks to implement a ray tracer, which is crazy enough, but to spice things up a bit, I didn't start it until last Thursday. I've been working on it practically non-stop, and I still haven't quite finished, although seeing how a lot of people aren't even getting output yet, I think I should be okay.
Now I have about 200 pages of reading to do (150 of catch up, 50 for tomorrow), and a paper due Wednesday, and another paper due next Monday. Total craziness, I tell ya.
I got an email from one of the campus newspapers yesterday, asking me for some comments about the whole Diebold thing. Apparently they're going to do an article about the 3 of us who have setup mirrors here. The first question they asked was "Have you received a C&D yet?" which I thought was rather amusing. Also, there's an article in the New York Times about the campaign, which is pretty cool. If nothing else, we might be getting some attention. And no, I still haven't received a C&D yet... in fact, it seems like nobody else has either today.
Update [11/4/03] - The article is now online, and is on the front page of today's issue. If nothing else, I think we've at least increased awareness here. Oh, and they spelled my name wrong.
