Why I'm single... the explanation
I found the Soul Mate Calculator thing on DayPop, so I took it for a whirl... The prognosis? I must meet 31,351 women to meet my "soul mate". It depends on how you define "meet", but I guess I still have about 30,000 to go.. or maybe change my criteria (see extended post for criteria). Actually, I'm not too sure about this though... I'd like to think my odds are better than that.

I really didn't think I was that picky. I had a pretty wide range for a number of parameters like age, height, and ethnicity... Out of curiosity, I tried taking out the intelligence requirement, and sure enough, that brought the probability coefficient all the way up to 0 (i.e. the next girl I meet is it). So that's it there. If I just give up on the whole intelligence thing and just go by, oh I don't know, physical appearances or something, maybe I'd do better.

Height: 4'7" to 5'6"
Age: 18 - 25
Distance: US
Ethnicity: Asian, American Indian, Hispanic/Latino, White/Caucasian
Religion: Buddhist/Taoist, Atheist, Agnostic, Spiritual, Other
Relationship Status: never married
Face Attractiveness: 50 - 100 percentile
Body Attractiveness: 50 - 100 percentile
Intelligence: 90 - 100 percentile
Emotional Intelligence: 85 - 100 percentile
Compassion: 80 - 100 percentile
Humor: 70 - 100 percentile
Artistic Talent: 50 - 100 percentile
Writing Talent: 50 - 100 percentile
