So I'm on the verge of failing Discrete Math, and I have a midterm this week with not enough time to prepare (not that there's too much you could do to prepare for a Babai test in the first place). Failing is bad, but it's super bad in my position because, if I fail discrete, I'm quite literally dead. As in, I can't be a computer science major (unless I do an extra year to re-take discrete next Fall) and I don't have time/money to switch to something else. Ergo, death for Ryo.
Although, there's still hope. After I test for 5th-kyu this week, I plan on cutting back on aikido so that I could go to the TA sessions and get extra help. There are still 2 more quizes, a 2nd midterm and the final after this, so if I do semi-decently on those, I can quite conceivably pass the class. And then I can live, and that will be good.

Good luck on your test. Hopefully you'll be able to see the TA before the test.
