For anyone out there, BlogMatcher now has a new URL: BlogMatcher.com. The old URL still works too.

Also, I've finally put together all components. Every 4 hours:
T + 0 minutes: indexer begins
T + 25 minutes: list of links generated
T + 30 minutes: search server killed
T + 31 minutes: search server restarted (rebuilds index)
T +~40 minutes: search server back online

Over all the only downtime is between +31 and whenever it comes back online. I haven't figured out why, but sometimes it only takes about 5 seconds to rebuild the index, other times it takes 5 minutes or more...

Hey, BlogMatcher is looking great and the scoring system is pretty cool too. I especially like how you got the 'permanent presence' worked out (so you can link straight to your results similar to Organica and Technorati). Have you thought about integrating a percent 'final' system with the highest score being 100, for your results?

I've said this before, but I'll say it again. If I search for Blog X, it shouldn't tell me that it is a match with Blog X.

The domain is nice, I'll be able to remember that :-)

True. I think the problem (in most cases) is that the current systems can't tell that www.someblog.com and someblog.com are the same thing... I can add a check for that though (I think).
