My new TiBook arrived today. Some observations:
- The 1280x854 15.2" LCD simply kicks ass. I don't think I can ever go back to a 1024x768 screen.
- It's not noticeably slower than my 867MHz 12" AlBook, even though the CPU runs at 200MHz slower, has a 133MHz bus and has ATA/66 instead of ATA/100. Having a pretty good graphics card probably helps, as does the 1MB L3 cache.
- It feels considerably less sturdy compared to the newer PB lines, but maybe it'll force me to be more careful with it.
- I still prefer having ports on the side rather than the back.
- The eBay listing had erroneous descriptions, so there's no AirPort. What's worse, Apple's stopped selling them so they're going for up to $150 on eBay :-(
In general, though, I love this machine. So much so that I've stopped using the AlBook despite its faster processor and 19" flatscreen display. In fact, I might be getting rid of it sooner than I thought.

This is your best bet for now. I would prefer to have an airport card on the inside, but what are you gonna do? You could also look into the Orinoco Gold cards.
