Nice article on ArsTechnica that talks about MacOS X Finder flaws mostly in how it doesn't allow for spacial orientation. I'd agree that that's one of the main reasons I don't use the Finder nearly as much as I used to under MacOS 7-9. I used to know where the windows would open and where everything would be, allowing me to open folders and files faster (in fact, usually without even looking at the file/folder names).
Reverting the OS X Finder to something more like the Classic Finder would be a welcome change, however, the thing also is 15 years old. I think it's about time that Apple came out with something that was both functional and new.
