The Memory Hole's obtained 361 "secret" pictures of flag draped caskets from the Air Force, and posted them on the web. In response, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said: "We must pay attention to the privacy and to the sensitivity of the families of the fallen".
Like most other things spouted forth from the Da House these days, that made me go "Wah?!". Since when was ignoring, marginalizing, and hiding someone's death considered a way to honor them? If that's true, why do we have obitraries, funerals, and marked graves? I don't know about in the White House, but in most other places in our society, we honor the dead by remembering them.
So, in honor and memory of those soldiers who perished in Iraq at the whim of an incompetent regime, I present to you the photos:

Get your free incest pictures here! Hehe, just kidding. The real motive of the pentagon/Bush regime is pretty obvious. They want U.S. citizens to continue to complacently keep working and paying taxes. No need to bother us with some silly dead people, a law can take care of that. Who cares about civil liberties, Jerry Springers on TV! If people saw plane loads of caskets they might get worked up and realize that U.S. soldiers are killing people and getting killed. We are at war! People need to stop watching Britney Spears dance around in all of her post-pubescent glory (hint: she has gotten as naked as she is going to get, you might as well give up, she will just continue to tease) and wake up. The U.S. has invaded another country, killed and arrested its leaders, and is now occupying it until a proper puppet-leadership can be setup. The reason for these actions changes weekly. If you are not an American you should be afraid, your country could be next! Even if it isn't to honor the dead, even if their loved ones would really appreciate privacy, these pictures should still be available. This is the sort of documentation of the reality of war that should be plastered all over the media. What's that? The media has been 0wnz3r3d? That's right, independent mainstream media is an oxymoron. The media that the masses see (i.e. the media that matters) are slaves and will not report anything that has the remotest chance of getting them in trouble. This includes anything that the most conservative of folks might find the least bit offensive. What does this leave? Pretty much nothing of substance. Nothing that could actually be considered "news" will be seen because that might involve pissing someone off. Who really gives a shit about "the privacy and to the sensitivity of the families of the fallen." These were soldiers sent by our military to kill people by our country. We should know everything about them and what they are doing. We should know what they are doing, who they are killing, and why are they killing them. If our country is going to send our citizens to kill people in our name we should have a better explanation and more information. We did not elect these people (or not elect as the case may be) to hide their motives from us and ruin our name.
