So... yeah. Been a while. O-Week was awesome, and it's the second week of classes now. This quarter isn't going to suck as badly as I thought it might. I'm taking:
- Art History 101
- Physics
- CS 271 - Discrete Math
- CS 359 - Computer Vision
I'm also auditing:
- Photography and Film
- Big Ideas in Computer Science
Arth 101 is somewhat suckish, but not so bad. Physics is suckish, but hopefully it'll be easy. Discrete Math is kicking my ass big time, but I think I actually might learn something or another. Computer vision is the best class ever. Photography and film is awesome but the class was "too full" for me to register... but the prof let me audit; go figure. Big Ideas is cool because it's a different prof lecturing on a different topic every week. It's the perfect class to audit. Observation: I have this sneaking suspicion that grad classes are easier than undergrad classes...
I'm going to a "by invitation only" Google recruiting event tomorrow, with the VP of Research and Systems Engineering. Probably the closest I'll ever come to Google, but hey, I'm excited anyway.
