Here's an update for you non-Hitchcock/UofC people...
I finished (sort of) ducky on Tuesday night, and it was screened at a film fest on Wednesday night. Things got pretty hairy at the end to meet the deadline though. To meet the Tuesday midnight deadline, we did a 3rd and last over-night shoot on Saturday night, we shot credits on Tuesday afternoon, I wrote a new DuckyMagic module also that afternoon, and finished recording music 2 hours before the deadline. But, it got done (and only 40 minutes late), and it seems like most people at the screening liked it. I'll be posting it online in the coming weeks, and I'm also considering making DVDs with all kinds of extras if there's enough demand for it.
In other news, Alison was accepted to the UofC and will be coming here next Fall (took a while for her to find out... being out in Mongolia and all). Ironically enough, I now have a girlfriend (and by that, I mean a non-Alison girlfriend -shocking, ain't it?). It should be fun to have her around anyway, and if nothing else, I'm sure she'll have a good time here.
Finally, summer plans (i.e. after 6/10). I got a few jobs on campus, so I'll be staying here for most of the summer (partially thanks to free room/board I get for one of the jobs). I'll be in Portland for the O'Reilly OSS Con at the end of July, and I might take another week or so off to go somewhere else...
