Yesterday Flo, Nicole and I went to Chinatown where we consumed and purchased copious amounts of food. We started with dimsum, then did some shopping, and finished with a round of blob drinks (a.k.a "bubble teas" -clearly a misnomer since those are blobs, not bubbles, and most variants are not even teas).
Today, we went to the Art Institute, followed by yummy sammiches at Potbelly's with some mocha for dessert, then a trip to the Apple Store on Michigan (where I became engrossed in a Finding Nemo game that I played until closing time -I swear, I didn't see the "ages 6-10 sign!), then to the mall across from the watertower with cool bubble spouting fountains (I caught some too!), followed by bookhunting at Border's, after which we headed home, narrowly escaping the distinct gravitational draw of Ghirardelli.
Correction: In my post from the 20th, I wrote: "I think Alison condemned me to a horrible death by lettuce". Correctly, it should be: "I think Alison condemned me to a horrible death by lettuce in a box" I apologize to the reader for this error, since, clearly, death by lettuce in a box is considerably worse than a mere death by lettuce.
