You're a fucktard. Of all the bloggers out there, you had to go on and mess with the guy who's written his own blog system. Well, good for me, because I can actually do something about it.

So this is how things are going to be run around here from now on. Under every comment, there's a little link that says "moderate". Anyone can click on that link, and then click on the button that says "spam". Every comment is given at least 3 points and anyone can knock off a point, which means three strikes and you're out.

But it gets better. You see, a lot of people who read my blog (and will help me moderate comments) come back repeatedly. Whenever they mod down a comment already modded down by someone else, they get 0.2 points. Once their score reaches or exceeds 3 points, whatever comment they mod down gets removed immediately.

Now, the chances are, dear spammer, you're not even human (and if you are human, you have my sympathies because you're doing what a simple script could do quite easily, making you sub-machine). That means the spamming will not stop. But at least your shit will be purged off my blog before it reaches your intended "audience". And that's always a good thing.
