Shew, apparently I haven't made an entry in a week. Part of it is me being rather lazy, but the other half is because I've actually been somewhat busy. On Sunday, I flew down to LA to pick up my car, then I spent Monday and Tuesday driving up. I took the "scenic route" up, which took me through San Luis Obispo, a random Army tank range (see below), Monterey, Cupertino and Mountain View. I've posted a bunch of photos from the trip on my site.



Apart from that, we're supposed to move out of our apartment by Friday 3pm. Part of the problem is, I have to pack up everything I own and organize it, so come Friday, I can just load everything into my car. I'm leaving some things behind, but I'm hauling just about everything down to LA to store at my dad's. Then a week after that, I'm coming back up to Chico to finish up some unfinished business, then heading back to LA later in August, or early in September. Then, I'll be off to Chicago on September 20th.

Come to think of it, I've moved every year since 1997. Before that, I moved in 1990 and 1987, which means I've moved a total of 9 times. Maybe one of these days I'll actually settle down, but I don't see that happening for at least several more years (at least not until I'm out of college, that's for sure). The nice thing is, though, if you move often, you don't accumulate much crap. Just about everything I own fits in my truck, although I guess not owning any furniture worth anything helps...
