As reported on Slashdot and elsewhere, apparently some musicians are opposing single-track downloads. If you ask me, they're taking this too far. Sure, it might be in their legal rights to determine which songs have to be bought together, but that would be a blatant disregard for consumer demands. Fair commerce isn't about the seller dictating all terms of a transaction; it has to be a two way street.
Besides, even if their album sales take a hit, they're still going to be making more money than they need. What the hell is the problem with "musicians" these days? Grumble, grumble...
