A cute (and very well done) little animation.

Twitdom 4: Twit level red (hopeless)
I'm a fucking twit...

*bangs head against monitor*

As you noticed, I just increased my twit-level... yeah, if you thought I was hopeless before, you were WRONG!

Anyway, before going to class I went to the BMU to get my coffee as I always do, but today, that whole luck thing that nobody can explain happened: The Girl was walking right by as I came out. She looked at me and (I think) gave me about 15% of a smile (maybe 20%?), so I truned around and ran like hell. Okay, I didn't. I turned around and went down the ramp instead of the stairs which put me about 4 ft behind and about 6 ft to the left her. We came to a stop at the signal by OCNL, and I tried to think of something to say...but I couldn't think of anything. Besides, I saw Khai on the other side of the street. And I'd only gotten about 4 hours of sleep, and hadn't even taken a sip of my coffee. Had this happened at 2am, I probably would've been able to think of something to say in time (instead of 30 minutes later).

Observation: she wears dirty jeans.... *drool*

IlohaBlog: Added formatting options to posts. Auto-format permits HTML but automatically adds <br> tags to retain basic formatting. HTML just dumps as is, and plain text will actually show HTML code if there is any.

Also added ability to post to section only. Okay, I confess. I did this so that I can post my Twitdom series and not have it show on the front page (hey, it is kind of embarassing...).

Apple reported $14 million in net profit on $1.46 billion in revenue, and their cash reserves have gone up to $4.52 billion (from NYT). In related news, people still expect Apple to go out of business this year. I guess when you've been saying that for 15 years, it's hard to switch and admit to being wrong...

IlohaBlog: All "static" content files now are in shtml, not PHP. I decided to use Server Side Includes instead of PHP because:

  1. I don't have to worry about unauthorized PHP code being injected and executed
  2. It's possible to inject SSI but I doubt there's a whole lot of damage you could do.
  3. SSI is built into Apache (so content server doesn't require PHP)
  4. Performance (SSI seems much faster than PHP)

Of course, that also means all past permalinks are now stale, but well, this is pre-beta software...
