Had dinner with the grandparent-in-laws last night who claim to be Democrats but sound like Republicans and watch Fox News. This afforded me the opportunity to catch some of the Republican Presidential Candidates Debate. If you can't stomach the whole thing here is my summary:

McCain - Cracks a joke about Thompson.
Giuliani - 911, I reduced crime in NY, 911.
Huckabee - Makes a good point about immigrants being humans that should be treated with some modicum of respect.
Everyone else - Why do you hate America Governor Huckabee?
Giuliani - 911, I reduced crime in NY, 911.
McCain - Cracks a joke about immigration
Hunter - I know how to build fences.
Romney - Fetuses are babies. I love babies. States should decide if it is legal to kill babies.
Huckabee - Dead miners make us sad, so we should stop killing babies.
Paul - The government sucks at air travel security.
Brownback - Gay marriage will decrease marriage rates.
McCain - Cracks a joke about Democrats.
Giuliani - Unsuccessfully tries to crack a joke about McCain. 911, I reduced crime in NY, 911.
Romney - The surge might be working.
McCain - The surge IS working.
Paul- Makes a good point about Iraq being a terrible mistake.
Everyone else - Why do you hate America Ron Paul?
Paul - No really, we screwed up in Iraq.
Everyone else - Why do you hate America Ron Paul?
Brownback - Iraq should be the 51st state.
Huckabee - You break it, you buy it.
Paul - No really, you guys screwed us with this whole Iraq thing.
Everyone else - Why do you hate America Ron Paul?
Paul - You guys turned the Republican Party into a flaming turd with this whole Iraq thing.
Everyone else - Why do you hate America Ron Paul?
Hunter - Democrats hate the troops. I love the troops.

They kept going, but that was all I could handle.
